PLANT-BASED COOKING WITH A CLEAR PURPOSE
What began as a change in 2021 has grown into a conscious way of cooking
During the pandemic, we decided to transform our Italian restaurant
“De Huiskamer van Elisa & Dani” into a fully vegetarian and vegan establishment: Broccolis Veggie Vegan Restaurant.
That choice went beyond the menu
We wanted to cook in a way that is better for both people and the environment. That is why we operate without deep fryers: less fat in the dishes and
no waste from frying oil.
Since then, we have grown while reducing our energy consumption
from 4,500 kW to approximately 3,500 kW per year
less than an average family of four.
As a family business, we keep everything in our own hands
We do the shopping daily, select our products ourselves, and work only with
fresh ingredients. This way, we prevent waste and ensure consistent quality.
Our kitchen is also perfectly suited for guests with specific dietary requirements
Thanks to our way of working, we can carefully handle allergies
and intolerances, such as gluten-free or lactose-free diets.
Broccolis stands for a conscious choice: fresh, plant-based
with attention to people and the environment.
